On Thursday, February 17 we held our first webinar of 2022: "The Deans' Den". Here, we were joined by guest speaker, Associate Dean, Dr. Charles Knight from Salford Business School to discuss his strategic approach to embed experiential learning, improve student engagement and the overall student experience across the business school. 

We covered a range of topics and themes including:
  • Experiential learning strategies and outcomes
  • Using Business Simulations as teaching and learning tools
  • The importance of developing Graduate Attributes and Employability Skills
  • Getting buy-in across the School - removing blockages
  • Building into the curriculum (not a bolt-on)
  • Measuring success - student feedback through quantitative and qualitative data collection
  • What you need from a partnership

The webinar also involved an interactive panel discussion with participants getting involved in the discussion throughout..
