Embedding Experiential Learning Across the Business School

On Tuesday 15th February we held our first webinar of 2022, 'The Deans' Den'. Here, we were joined by Associate Dean, Dr. Charles Knight from Salford Business School (University of Salford) where we discussed the Business School's experiential and applied learning strategy through the use of business simulations. 

We covered a range of topics and themes including:

  • Strategic aims - why experiential learning?
  • The importance of Graduate attributes / Employability Skills 
  • Getting buy-in across the School - removing blockages
  • Building into the curriculum (not a bolt-on)
  • Success: building in and demonstrating efficacy through quantitative and qualitative data collection
  • What you need from a partnership

The Webinar was hosted by Leon Lloyd from Edumundo and also included a dedicated Q&A session with the participants.
