"At HWZ, all our students are part-time. 60 to 80, sometimes even 90% of the students are in employment - they often work between three or four and a half days a week. They come to school for usually one full day and an evening per week. Apart from their class-based work they also have to study in their own time. "The simulation is only part of the final grade. They have to take various exams along the way in this marketing course. These exams focus on the theoretical backbone of the course. In the simulation they put their knowledge into practice. The final marketing plan is also graded and then included in the final marks."
"Very much so. The students learned a lot, both in marketing terms as well as in team management. What is more, they learned relevant marketing vocabulary in English which was an added bonus. Although not everyone got high scores, they all learned a lot and many have since fed-back that the simulation was a key highlight of the term."
