BrightBirds is widely used in education, providing a seamless experience for both students and educators. By using your BrightBirds account, you can participate in one or more game sessions. If you need to delete your account, there are two methods available: manually deleting your account and automatic data removal.

Manual Account Deletion

1. Log In to the App:
Open the BrightBirds app and log in with your credentials.

2. Access "My Profile'":
Navigate to the "My Profile" section within the app.

3. Click on "Delete Profile":
Locate and click the "Delete Profile" button.

4. Enter Your Password:
For security reasons, you will be prompted to enter your password.

5. Confirmation Email:
A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.

6. Confirm Deletion:
Click the link in the confirmation email to confirm your request. Your account will now be marked for deletion.

7. Waiting Period:
You will have a 7-day grace period to reconsider. After this period, your account will be permanently deleted.

Automatic Data Removal

BrightBirds also offers automatic data removal based on the activity and duration of game sessions.

1. Game Session Duration:
Each game session has a predetermined play period agreed upon with the institution.

2. End of Play Period:
At the end of the play period, the games will be deleted from the system.

3. Weekly Account Review:
Every day, accounts without active game sessions are identified automatically. Accounts that haven’t logged in for the last seven days AND have no active game sessions will be removed.
